Mobile SMS Terms of Service
Effective Date: 09/01/2026
These Mobile SMS Terms of Service apply to text messages sent by or on behalf of MedOne Hospital Physicians, LLC, including messages related to the MedOne Primary Care service line and website at Medonehp.com.
Program Description
By opting in to receive SMS text messages from MedOne Primary Care, you agree to receive text messages related to appointments, scheduling, One Time Passcodes (OTP), links, account or administrative updates, care coordination, service-related communications, and, where you have provided the required consent, marketing or promotional messages about MedOne Primary Care services, programs, events, health-related offerings, or other MedOne services that may be of interest to you.
Messages may be sent using an automated system. Consent to receive SMS text messages is not a condition of receiving medical care or services from MedOne. Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not required to receive healthcare services, and you may choose not to receive marketing texts while still receiving certain non-marketing, care-related communications if separately permitted.
Marketing Text Messages
MedOne may send marketing or promotional SMS text messages only where permitted by law and only after obtaining any consent required for that type of message. Marketing messages may include information about MedOne Primary Care services, new service offerings, preventive care opportunities, patient education campaigns, events, or other MedOne programs.
If you opt in to receive marketing SMS messages, your consent applies only to the MedOne messaging program described at the time of opt-in. MedOne will not require marketing SMS consent as a condition of receiving medical care, scheduling an appointment, or purchasing any goods or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your interactions with MedOne Primary Care, your appointment activity, and the services you request.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages, depending on your mobile plan.
Opt-In Instructions
You may opt in to receiving SMS text messages by sending START to 614-683-3390.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from MedOne. After you send STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Opting out of marketing SMS messages will stop marketing texts from that program, but it may not prevent MedOne from sending certain non-marketing messages related to your care, appointments, account, safety, or other legally permitted communications. After opting out, you may opt in again where available.
Help Instructions
For help, reply HELP to any SMS message or contact MedOne Primary Care at 614-802-6080.
Privacy and Protected Health Information
MedOne respects your privacy and handles patient information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable. SMS text messaging may not be a fully secure method of communication. Do not send sensitive medical information, urgent medical concerns, or emergency requests by text message.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
