We offer an immersive opportunity for nurse practitioners and physician assistants seeking additional education and in-depth knowledge of hospital medicine or post-acute care, during which you will have an active, full-time role as part of our clinical care team.

We offer two APC fellowship tracks:
Hospital Medicine Fellowship
Hospital Medicine Fellowship Information
Program Curriculum
- Clinical training: 6 months of one-on-one training with our expert hospital medicine physicians and experienced advanced practice clinicians
- Didactic education: weekly lectures with our hospital medicine experts
- CME conferences: Medmastery learning modules and workshops
- Professional development opportunities: case study presentations, as well as Medmastery CME covered at 100%
- Communication development in a clinical setting: communication development practice in SIM lab and consistent communication feedback throughout program
- CAQ exam eligibility upon completion of fellowship
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care NP/AGACNP) or Physician Assistant program
- Obtain board certification by appropriate certifying body prior to starting the fellowship program
- Obtain license to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of Ohio
- BLS/ACLS certified

Program Curriculum
- Clinical training: 6 months of one-on-one training with our expert post-acute providers
- Didactic education: weekly lectures with our post-acute providers
- Professional development opportunities: case study presentations as well as completion of 2 post-acute specific online courses
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology, or Physician Assistant program
- Obtain board certification by appropriate certifying body prior to starting the fellowship program
- Obtain license to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of Ohio
- BLS/ACLS certified

Requirements for Professional References
- If you are a new graduate, one reference must be from your graduate program director.
- If you have prior APP experience, one reference must be from your most recent collaborating physician.
