ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Serves as a liaison between MedOne and Genesis Administration; Works to build relationships with Genesis leadership and open the lines of communication; Acts as the point person for any issues and works to actively resolve problems
  • Works on-site in Zanesville 50%-60% of time to establish a relationship with the physicians, APPs and Genesis Healthcare Administration
  • Regularly communicates progress, relays issues/updates and plans for improvement to Medical Director, Supervisor and key leadership
  • Provides project management to maximize financial and operational performance
  • Engages regional physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to understand, support and improve daily hospital operations; Builds positive working relationships with providers; Acts as the point person for any issues and works to actively resolve problems
  • Attends Hospital meetings and represents MedOne operational interests
  • Performs data analysis to determine program profitability and opportunities for financial improvement; Will grow value programs and risk contracts at Genesis
  • Assists with Genesis schedule optimization
  • Assists with Genesis billing optimization
  • Function as dyad to designated Medical Directors

    • Night Team
    • Co-Management
    • Other specialized units as needed
  • Development and maintenance of Guidebooks for designated areas
  • Facilitation of Town Hall/Communication of key practice updated for designated areas
  • Promotes the MedOne culture and organizes social outings to improve team morale
  • Assists the Medical Director with documentation of HR issues which may include development of performance improvement plans
  • Monthly development of operational performance dashboard for designated areas
  • Supervision and development of designated BackOffice staff

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College degree required; Master’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

Experience: 5+ years’ experience in hospital operations; Demonstration of progressive responsibility; Experience working successfully with physicians
